State CTE Qualifiers Recognized by Board of Trustees Students who are involved in CTE organizations have many opportunities to sharpen their leadership and technical skills through competitions. So far this year, 13 Comal ISD students have qualified for state competitions in just a few CTE organizations including FFA, FCCLA and HOSA.

Nate Leonard Named Athletic Coordinator, Head Football Coach for Canyon High The assistant head coach and offensive coordinator at Canyon High School, Nate Leonard, was named as the athletic coordinator and head football coach during the Comal ISD Board of Trustees meeting on Feb. 23.
