It's not too late to get started on those New Year's Resolutions especially if one of them includes getting involved with Comal ISD.

The competition is fierce for Comal ISD's 2nd Annual Geography Bee. Geography Bee champions from each middle school will qualify to take an online test to determine whether they will compete for the state bee.

Smithson Valley High School will be on campus at Pieper Ranch Feb. 5-8 to assist students and parents with a successful high school experience.

Review new classroom materials including textbooks for K-8 English language arts and Spanish language arts before they are adopted by Comal ISD.

Remember the old adage that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Comal ISD gives students two opportunities to have a nutritious breakfast every day they attend school.

As part of its work to continually improve district safety and security for students, staff and visitors, the Comal Independent School District is implementing a clear-bag requirement for all high school athletic venues beginning Jan. 7.

Monday, January 28th, both Cheer and Dance teams will have interest meetings for next year's teams. These meetings will be in our Pieper Ranch Library and begin at 6:00 PM. Parent attendance is Mandatory at these meetings in order for students to tryout.

Comal ISD is proud to host three chess tournaments this year, one at each high school. Registration is open to all Comal ISD students to enter at any tournament beginning on January 8.

The Comal Independent School District is now accepting nominations for the naming of its newest high school, currently known as High School #4.

This year the Bulverde/Spring Branch Angels will make the dreams of more than 420 kids come true this holiday season.
