Bass Fishing Team to compete in State Tournament Two student anglers and members of the Comal ISD Bass Fishing Club are heading to the Hill Country Division: Lake Belton State Tournament July 25. They are currently tied for second place in the state - pretty impressive for the program's first year.
Superintendent Kim Elected Chair of Texas State Safety Center Board During a virtual meeting on Monday, June 29, the 15-member Texas School Safety Center Board of Directors elected Comal ISD Superintendent Andrew Kim as its chair. Kim has served on the board since 2017.

American Legion Award Honors Students for Character, Citizenship Correction: The American Legion honorees for Memorial Early College High School were reported incorrectly. Victor Hernandez and Josephine Tesauro received the top awards.For almost a century, the American Legion has been honoring students who exemplify the six qualities that define character with its School Award Medal Program. Several Comal ISD campuses participate in this tradition by nominating students for this award.
