PRMS Student Artists are Top-scorers at Regional Jr. VASE Contest

Pieper Ranch Art students participated in our Regional Junior Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) on Saturday, March 25th in Austin, Texas. According to the Texas Art Education Association, the hosts of VASE, their mission is to “recognize exemplary student achievement in the Visual Arts by providing art students and programs a standard of excellence in which to achieve.”

All of the artists from PRMS earned the highest score of a 4 and received medals for their achievement. On top of that outstanding achievement, two artworks from our Viper artists were chosen for the top 10% of all highest scoring pieces and won Platinum Medals, Maya Trest (8th) and Nickalus Castillo (6th).
