Where in the World is. . . . .

10 6th grade students competed, as finalists, in this year's GeoBee. The winner will go on to represent Pieper Ranch on the district level. Competition was fierce and all students showed their extensive knowledge of geography. In the end, Skyler King came out on top, with Keshav Singh and Hunter Samples in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. According to Patricia Nieto, our district Secondary Social Studies Curriculum Coordinator, who facilitated the competition, "The two finalists, Skyler and Keshav, told me they have been academic rivals since third grade. Both showed great sportsmanship as they made a deal that whoever won could not brag about it to the other - Adorable". All our participants have something they can brag about. Go Vipers! You certainly know where you are going.
